Media Credential Request

Welcome to the University of Michigan online credential application. This system is designed to allow you to request credentials efficiently and in a timely manner.

To request media credentials for the 2026 Michigan Football home games at Michigan Stadium, please complete the appropriate sections in this online system.

Credential requests must be submitted by an organization’s owner, beat reporter, sports editor, sports director/producer or photo editor - "the assigning individual". Please make only ONE submission per media outlet and include all requests for credentials on ONE application. The assigning individual should submit the request as the “Contact” with all employees they assign to cover the game(s) as the “Attendees.”

SEASON CREDENTIALS: The “Contact” should be prepared to submit a passport-size photo (300x400 pixels and no larger than 200 dpi) of each “Attendee” during the online application process. The deadline to apply for season credentials is August 1. Please do not apply for a season credential if you do not plan to attend EVERY home game during the 2026 season.

INDIVIDUAL GAME CREDENTIALS: The “Contact” will also need to submit a passport-size photo (300x400 pixels and no larger than 200 dpi) of each “Attendee” during the online application process.

PHOTO/VIDEO CREDENTIALS: The “Contact” will need to submit the name of each “Attendee” during the online application process. A vest will be provided on game day that serves as the credential for media with access to the field. Photo/Video vests are not available in advance.

PARKING: You will have the opportunity to purchase mobile parking after your application has been approved.

Any media member with a disability that requires an accessible path to media will call should use the Levine Tower entrance located along Main Street on the west side of Michigan Stadium. The media entrance is located north of Gate 4 which is located at the corner of Main Street and Stadium Boulevard.

Credential Pick Up Information
You may pick up press box credentials in Ann Arbor on Friday between 12-5 pm ET at Schembechler Hall (1200 S. State St.). Any credential that is not picked up will be available at the Levine Tower starting three hours prior to kickoff.

Photo/Video Vests are NOT available until game day and cannot be picked up early. The vest, which serves as the credential for media with access to the field, will only be distributed on game day at the check-in location on the east side of the stadium.

Credentials will not be mailed or overnighted.

To request full-season access credentials for all Michigan home games during the 2026 season select “Yes” below Season Credential. For single-game requests, leave Season Credential choice at “No” and proceed to Single Game Requests below.
