Welcome to the University of Michigan online credential application. This system is designed to allow you to request credentials efficiently and in a timely manner.
To request media credentials for the 2025-26 Michigan Ice Hockey home games at Yost Ice Arena, please complete the appropriate sections in this online system.
Credential requests must be submitted by an organization’s owner, beat reporter, sports editor, sports director/producer or photo editor - "the assigning individual". Please make only ONE submission per media outlet and include all requests for credentials on ONE application. The assigning individual should submit the request as the “Contact” with all employees they assign to cover the game(s) as the “Attendees.”
SEASON CREDENTIALS: The “Contact” should be prepared to submit a passport-size photo (300x400 pixels and no larger than 200 dpi) of each “Attendee” during the online application process. Please do not apply for a season credential if you do not plan to attend EVERY home game during the 2025-26 season.
INDIVIDUAL GAME CREDENTIALS: The “Contact” will need to submit the name of each “Attendee” during the online application process.
PHOTO CREDENTIALS: Photo holes in the glass are limited. A credential confirmation does not guarantee "Attendee" a photo hole.
PHOTOGRAPY: A credential approval for photographers does not guarantee a cutout in the glass. Please see Michigan Photographer upon arrival for possible shooting opportunities from a photo hole. Photography can be done on the glass next to photo holes. Use of photo holes requires you to replace the fixture after use for safety reasons. Failure of doing so will result in the revocation of your credential.
PARKING: You will have the opportunity to purchase mobile parking after your application has been approved.
